The Remediation Plus System is an excellent program, based on Orton-Gillingham research and methodology. I believe that the program is so effective because of the emphasis on phonological awareness training, explicit phonics, and multisensory learning.
The curriculum is “teacher friendly” and systematic, and there is only about 5 minutes of preparation before each lesson. The students find the program fun and stimulating, and they are very motivated by their success. The students are engaged in learning due to the multisensory nature of the program.
Several LD teachers within the District School Board of Niagara have reported excellent results with their students! I love the program so much that I am now using the program in my private practice.
